Part-time Certified Biller/Coder needed for family practice.
Certified Coder preferred with 3-5 years experience. Experience will be considered in lieu of certification.
Responsibilities - but not limited to:
CPT and ICD 10 codes
Insurance verification and estimation of benefits
Claims filing to primary and secondary payers
Experience collecting from all major and many minor insurance providers
Maintain and offer payment plans with patients
Process insurance denials and appeals
Reviews payments/EOBs are correct according to contracts
Scrub, submit, and correct rejected electronic claims
Makes routine collection calls on outstanding claims
Works with collections agencies on delinquent accounts
And other duties as needed and required
