Willis Mechanical is seeking a Master Ammonia Refrigeration Technician who has knowledge and experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This individual will also have the opportunity to oversee a team of colleagues with less experience. All work is in and around the metro Atlanta area. We provide ongoing service and new construction/renovations throughout the greater Atlanta area. Job Responsibilities

Observe and test industrial refrigeration system operation

Perform preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems

Troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems

Communicate effectively with other members of the team

Document all repair details in accordance with company procedures

Assist in maintaining parts and supplies inventory to ensure needed equipment is available

Maintain safe working environments by complying with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

Minimum of 5 years work experience in refrigeration service with ammonia

Graduation from a technical school or program in the area of study / CARO and CIRO Certifications

Able to inspect equipment, identify potential problems, and take appropriate corrective action

Able to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently

Pass a physical examination and respirator fit testing

Availability to be on call on nights and weekends, as needed

Have excellent communication and customer service skills

Has basic technical skills and can use computers and electronic systems

Organized, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic

Pay and Benefits

Willis provides a vehicle, fuel card, and uniforms. Experienced Ammonia Refrigeration Technicians receive paid holidays and three weeks of Paid Time Off. The employees' health, dental, and vision insurance is covered by Local 72. Employees also have access to the Willis Mechanical 401K program. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, working 8 hours/day, Monday through Friday. Day travel to new customers and job sites is expected.
