Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our manufacturing facility in Newnan, Georgia, United States. This role will primarily focus on overseeing all aspects of Accounting, such as Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable (AP), Closing, and Consolidation. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing processes and procedures, researching and solving financial issues, and leading monthly closing activities. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of accounting including Financial Reporting, AP, Closing, and Consolidation Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations Research and resolve financial issues as they arise Lead monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Utilize strong Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data Collaborate with the team to streamline and improve the accounting process Work in a SOX controlled environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations Leverage various software such as JDE EnterpriseOne and Oracle for accounting tasks Manage and maintain the Consolidated Balance Sheet and Consolidated Financial Statements Develop and adhere to the department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Requirements Minimum of 15 years of experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role within the manufacturing industry Proficient in Financial Reporting, Month End Close, and Annual Close Processes Experience in Consolidation Processes, Consolidated Financial Statements, and Consolidated Balance Sheet Knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Familiarity with Department SOP's Expertise in Microsoft Excel, JDE EnterpriseOne, and Oracle software Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise a team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
