Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in NEWNAN, Georgia. The role primarily involves processing data and maintaining supplier transactions in the Purchasing Department of our organization. This position also requires the creation of materials for presentations, management of company assets at suppliers, and generation of letters, surveys, and notifications to suppliers. Responsibilities Organize and process data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the Purchasing Department. Track supplier transactions and maintain accurate records. Generate, process, analyze, and track data related to part cost tracking, supplier on-time delivery performance, and request for quotation status. Create PowerPoint presentations for various purposes within the organization. Manage company assets at suppliers, including maintaining databases, issuing asset tags, confirming tool completion, and approving tool payments. Generate letters, surveys, and mass notifications to suppliers and communicate supplier responses to management. Generate purchase orders and sales orders, and maintain supplier databases. Organize charts, proo documents, perform data entry tasks, and maintain filing systems. Coordinate event planning and arrange meals for special meetings. Adapt to changing responsibilities and manage special projects as required. Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative role. Proficiency in the use of office software such as Microsoft Office Suite is critical. The ability to handle a variety of administrative tasks accurately and efficiently is a must. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. It's essential to have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. The candidate must have a proven track record in an administrative office setting. Experience with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines is beneficial. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is a must. The candidate should have a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
