We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops, lighting, and plumbing.
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials according to specifications.
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each project.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques including plumb lines, electrical wiring installation, trim carpentry, masonry work, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Valid driver's license
