Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing excellent service to residents? We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team and help manage a portfolio of multifamily residential properties in the Macon, GA area.

About the Role:

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key support role in property operations. You’ll assist with lease renewals, resident communications, eviction coordination, payment processing (including through government programs like Section 8, MHA) and maintaining the overall condition of the properties. This role is vital to keeping our properties running smoothly and residents satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with lease renewals, rent collections, and evictions

- Support residents with outstanding customer service

- Coordinate with government rental assistance programs for payment tracking

- Monitor and ensure cleanliness of leasing office and maintenance shop

- Manage supplies and inventory for property operations

- Support property-level communications and reporting

- Coordinate vendors for maintenance, landscaping, and repairs

- Assist with on-site inspections and grounds upkeep

- Perform general administrative tasks for the property management team

Qualifications:

- 1–2 years of administrative or customer service experience (property management experience is a plus)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Organized and dependable with strong attention to detail

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking

- Basic knowledge of property management systems or willingness to learn
