Strong company located well over an hour east of Macon in the pulp and paper manufacturing industry seeks an experienced EHS professional with experience related to OSHA compliance and some background with both workplace safety and environmental policy guidelines for a great supervisory opportunity. (Company will provide some relocation assistance for qualified candidates).
The right candidate will be someone with a track record of helping lead EHS at another manufacturing site, ideally with just 2 jobs in the past 5 years (give or take a few months). Essentially, company is not seeking job hoppers.
This is the chance to really lead the function and grow into a management role. Stable company with a strong history and one where many have built lifelong careers. Fifteen percent annual target bonus plus potential relocation assistance for those unable to commute to the site. Pulp or wood manufacturing experience desireable but those with other supervisor manufacturing experience that has required helping navigate a company and its workforce through tough EHS challenges may possibly be considered.
