Teksouth is seeking a .NET Developer to develop and enhance government software capabilities. This is a remote position, requiring occasional in-office work. Candidates must be a US Citizen and possess an active secret clearance and live in one of the following geographic locations: Huntsville, AL; Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; Macon, GA; and Warner Robins, GA.Responsibilities
Review the current state of existing systems.
Generate ideas for system improvements.
Create detailed technical design documentation and level of effort estimates.
Development of new systems
Modernization/Maintenance of existing systems
Testing newly developed systems and changes to existing systems
Create developer documentation.
Work closely with Database Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Quality Assurance teams, and Documentation teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Due to the nature of this contract, you must be a US Citizen and possess an active Secret Security Clearance
Security+ certification is a plus. Obtaining one will be a requirement.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on C# and .NET Core.
At least 3 years of direct, hands-on experience with SQL and MS SQL Server. Note: Experience with entity framework alone does not fulfill this requirement.
Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks, with a preference for React (VueJS also acceptable).
Experience in developing web applications client and server-side ("full stack")
Solid understanding of ASP.NET core concepts, including services, dependency injection, and middleware.
Familiarity with rewriting applications originally in C# or VB.NET is beneficial, as the role involves working with and modernizing legacy software for both on premise and cloud implementations.
A good understanding of web application security principles, including awareness of common attack vectors and defensive programming techniques.
Experience developing Microsoft Power Platform applications is a plus.
