Director of Imaging

Job DescriptionThis resource will be working with the largest health system in Georgia to specifically support two hospital entities (415 beds) as the Director of Imaging. This role will require a 4-year degree in one of the following disciplines: radiology, business management, health science or finance. Aside from the educational requirements, the most important piece of this role will be providing operational strategy and leadership. Aside from managing and supervisory duties, this role will require the individual to be extremely focused on operational planning and process improvement. An individual who has performed the roles in the imaging space is imperative to the success of this individual. Not to mention this role will require resource management for all support activities in ancillary imaging cost centers. This role will help manage the increasing population of outpatient services and is open to entertaining a temporary resource in pursuit of the ideal candidate.Skills and RequirementsBachelors degree in Radiology, Business Management, Health Science, Finance or related field5 years hospital radiology experience5 years manager/supervisory experienceHigh degree of technical knowledge in all imaging specialty areas including CT, MR, IR, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and DiagnosticsSelf-motivated - Certified Radiology Administrator by American Healthcare Radiology AdministratorsARRT/ ARDMS / NMTCBPrevious experience working in an organization who has gone through antiquated equipment changeover nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
