Our equipment operators work with construction crews to operate skid steers, mini excavators in a safe environment. Work is outdoors and will work in all weather conditions .We are seeking to hire an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Skid Steer), Mini Excavator driver and Laborer. Work is outdoors in inclement work conditions.Skid Steer & Mini Excavator Operator:
Going to be part of the backfill crew. Will have to clean, backfill property. MUST know how to grade land.
Expect to do some crew member/ laborer tasks i.e. running compactor tamp
Be over 21 years of age and be able to attain a DOT physical.
Drive a DOT regulated vehicle as they will be responsible for the Truck, Trailer, Skid Steer & Mini Excavator.
At least 1 year experience operating Skid Steer & Mini Excavator
Must be able to travel
Must be willing to be on-call
Must be able to work long hours
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Work safely at all times
Ability to operate heavy equipment (Skid Steer & Mini Excavator)
Ability to drive a Ford 350 with a 24ft Trailer
Minimum Qualifications:
At least two (2) years of work experience, pref. construction, heavy equipment operation, general labor, utilities, or other outside work.
Must have a clean valid driver’s license.
Currently has or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
CDL is a plus.
Must be able to be on call and work nights and weekends.
Physical Demands:
Regularly lift 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds off and on
Must be able to do manual labor
Work in all types of weather conditions
