The HR Administrator works with assigned business unit(s) and acts as a point of contact for Human Resources and will be responsible for managing, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, performance management, workforce planning, orientation and onboarding, payroll concerns, associate engagement, and associate recognition. The HR Administrator understands the business needs and assists department level managers and supervisors in those business needs. A key component of this role is the ability to build trust, credibility, and collaborative relationships to consult with business leaders and add value. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with internal recruitment, including vetting candidates, scheduling internal interviews.

Coordinates and facilitates new hire orientation and complete onboarding.

Supports internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department

Responds to associate’s payroll concerns and partners with the payroll department to resolve associate concerns.

Partners with the HRBP to coordinate training sessions and seminars.

Assists with HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, ensuring integrity, and confidentiality

Provides clerical support to the HR department.

Provides weekly HR stats for the HRBP, CFC Director and Recruiter.

Completes separation notices and mail termination packets to termed associates.

Schedules monthly associate and supervisor Focus Group Meetings.

Creates and posts associate communications information.

Orders office supplies and associate milestone gifts.

Provides backup for the HR Representative when needed.

Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

Assists the HR Department in the management of day-to-day tasks.

Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.

Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Need:

High School diploma or the equivalent is required.

3 years related HR experience required.

Good working knowledge of HR functions and best practices

Familiarity with employment law and human resources responsibilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of payroll practices

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Experience with Workforce and payroll processes

Experience with Microsoft Office software

Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS

Bonus Points If You Have:

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.

Other Requirements:

Willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, if needed.

Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements.
