Run all necessary computerized reports
Interpret injection molding schedules and work orders and assigns duties
Set up molding machines to run safely, quality products at optimum productivity
Perform product changes (ID and resin type and color) on the machines
Perform nozzle filter cleaning and changes as needed
Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and changes machine set-ups as necessary for best quality and cycle time performance.
Provide and facilitate all the needs of the production operators for optimal performance
Recommend measures and strive towards improving safety, quality, production methods, and equipment performance
Analyze and assist production operators in solving work problems
Review and prepare as needed daily production reports
Train workers on how to safely perform their duties
Operate an industrial forklift
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
