This is a mission-driven sales role where you’ll combine consultative selling with passionate advocacy for pet care. Your success will be defined by your ability to generate high-quality sales leads from veterinary and shelter channels and increase the adoption and utilization of Trupanion’s proprietary software that pays veterinary invoices directly at checkout.You’ll be responsible for:Managing an Exclusive Territory - Build, manage, and grow strong relationships with veterinary practices and shelters in NE Georgia. Position yourself as the trusted partner, advisor, and sales leader for your region.Driving Sales KPIs - Consistently meet and exceed performance targets, from lead generation to hospital activations and policy enrollments. Leverage data and CRM tools to identify targets, track results, and optimize territory performance.Maximizing Software Utilization - Champion Trupanion’s real-time veterinary invoice payment software by training teams, integrating it into daily workflows, and ensuring consistent usage to deliver a seamless member experience.Changing Behavior - Influence veterinary and shelter staff to consistently discuss and recommend pet insurance as part of treatment planning, helping pet owners overcome cost concerns through helping them budget for unexpected veterinary care.Collaborating to Win - Partner with colleagues to share successful tactics, address challenges, and celebrate wins across the territory and company.What You BringSales Drive & Discipline – Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, ideally in veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical sales.B2B Sales Expertise – 2+ years of proven success in consultative, solution-based B2B sales, ideally in veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical industries, with a strong record of exceeding targets.Influence & Communication Skills – Ability to inspire change and gain buy-in from teams at all levels.Data-Driven Mindset – Skilled at using analytics to spot opportunities, track performance, and refine strategy.Self-Motivation – Thrives in an independent, field-based role with frequent in-person visits (up to 5 days/week).Required Licensing – Ability to obtain Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance license, including completing the pre-licensing course and passing the state exam (company support provided).Central Location – Based in a strategic hub within NE Atlanta (e.g., Lawrenceville, Athens, Gainesville, Norcross) to maximize in-person relationship building and accelerate territory coverage.Passion for Pets – A genuine belief in the value of pet health insurance and its impact on patient care.What We OfferUncapped Earnings Potential – Starting guaranteed total compensation of $50,000/year, gradually increasing each year with uncapped earnings tied to your results and company growth.Sales Support – Paid onboarding, field coaching, and marketing & technology resources to fuel your success.Perks – Paid time off, holidays and vehicle stipend. Health & retirement benefits are not offered currently.Growth Opportunities – Continuous training and career development within a growing organization.If you’re ready to combine your sales expertise with a passion for pet health, and you want to be the driving force behind lead generation, software adoption, and behavior change in veterinary and shelter channels, we want to meet you.Apply today and help us make “best medicine” the standard for every pet.
