Salar: 68-72k/yr.
Terms: Direct Hire
Schedule: 1 st shift, Monday-Friday, weekends as needed
As a Microbiology Lab Supervisor, you will support the microbiology lab team members with projects surrounding specific strain selection technologies and custom product development.What you will be doing:
Large culture collection of effective and safe microbes
Extensive expertise in combining bacteria with other key ingredients
Multiple product formats: powders, liquids, solids
Custom product development
Application-specific strain selection technologies
Comprehensive stability testing
Customized product formulation and design
Feasibility/proof-of-principle studies
Product stability trials
Product validation studies
Product scale-up/transfer to manufacture
Product testing
What you bring to the company:
Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in microbiological aseptic techniques.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role.
Hands-on laboratory experience with microbial identification and isolate work-up.
Experience handling bacterial cultures, preferably Bacilli.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
Ability to manage a high throughput workload.
Highly organized with great diligence and strong documentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, teamwork, and people skills.
