What Would You Do? The Specifics.Maintains and supports the DVI system assisting users and leadership in all aspects of both hardware and software; including hardware interfaces between DVI and all equipment and conveyor systems.Provides and manages month-end closing lab reporting to corporate accounting.Assists Lens Inventory management/physical inventory within the DVI system. Creates custom queries and reporting within the DVI system.Provides for Time Keeping hardware/software interfacing with Payroll.Manages Lab security systems including alarm systems, cameras and badge systems.Interfaces w/ Corporate IT regarding AS400, JDA, SDS, Serve and the National Vision (NVI) Portal.Installs and maintains NVI network interfaces, workstations and printers.Upkeeps Lab phone system.Troubleshoots and resolves problem jobs using DVI, SDS and Optical experience.Fixes common errors and notifies vendors/maintenance to assist with escalated issues.Ensures system jobs are completed in a timely manner, keeps daily log to track running times and notifies leadership if jobs are running slower than normal.Monitors all printers and print jobs and fixes any problems. Researches and tests new equipment to train and will assist with training/implementation. Troubleshoot and resolve problem jobs using DVI, SDS and Optical experienceHandles on call emergencies through remote or onsite access.Assists staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop/laptop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.Completes internal/external quarterly and annual IT audit reporting
