Senior IT AuditorThis is a contract-to-hire opportunity.This is a hybrid opportunity in Johns Creek, GA. About this positionThis position will be responsible for developing, leading, and performing information technology (IT) audits and assist with Sarbanes-Oxley IT controls testing. This position must be able to manage and conduct audits of general business and information technology functions in supporting the execution of the annual audit plan.Job Responsibilities:Support Internal Audit planning activities for SOX and NIST audits, including risk assessment, scoping analysis, planning, execution, and communication.Lead, perform and document all phases of IT audits including planning, fieldwork, reporting results and performing subsequent follow-up procedures.Drive the development of new or enhanced procedures and ideas that add value to internal controls and business processes.Develop and communicate recommendations to management to strengthen internal controls and operational processes; follow up on implementation.Evaluate the design, operational effectiveness and efficiency of IT control processes and proceduresSkills/Requirements:5 years of experience in IT audit function or experienced IT professional.Relevant experience in auditing or assessing IT and/or accounting controlsWorking knowledge of NIST CSF and SOX control frameworks and experience working with cross platform control mapping.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly to stakeholders and team members.Experience with AuditBoard, or equivalent GRC tool.Ability to Communicate IT concepts and risks to non-IT auditors and managementPay Range:$30-34/hrYUPRO Placement is the nation’s leading skills-first placement firm placing and promoting historically overlooked talent into permanent hire, apprenticeship, and contract job assignments.
