Starting wage is $17.85/hour (paid bi-weekly) with night shift premium of $2.00 per hour

Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory)

Primary Shifts:

3rd Shift: 7:30pm – 6:00am (Sunday night – Thursday morning) with overtime hours 7:30pm - 4:00pm (Thursday night - Friday morning)

Essential Job Functions: Good attendance record and ability to work OT when required Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures The ability to properly perform quality checksJob Duties/Responsibilities:Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists.Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies.Operates electronic hardware/RF units.Cross train in shipping, receiving, and material handling/storage.Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated area.Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination or signal crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.Load trucks for Industrial Truck Operator.Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.Clamp sections of portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.Remove samples of materials, label with identifying information, and take samples to laboratory for analysis.Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.Assemble crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles.Shovel loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or into vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap truck, or barrels.Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.Perform minor preventative maintenance on forklifts (check fluid levels, lights, horns, etc.).Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace.Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or general education degree with a minimum of two years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceTop Candidates Will Also Have:Previous agency experience at CaterpillarAll eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar:
