Description We are in the market for a Financial Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry. Based in Fort Valley, Georgia, the role involves supporting plant operations and contributing to the financial stability of our organization. Responsibilities: Set and maintain standard costs for multiple product lines Estimate product costs for new products and changes to existing products Investigate month-to-month variance in product costs Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product costs and inventory Support Annual Operating Plan development and forecasting activities Participate in continuous improvement projects and cost reduction efforts related to manufacturing Prepare timely reports and presentations to finance and operations management highlighting key financial insights Support internal and external audits and Ad Hoc projects and analysis, as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex data to a wide variety of stakeholders Prioritize tasks and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Exhibit strong analytical skills and thrive in a team-based environment Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role within the Manufacturing industry Proficiency in Finance and Microsoft Excel is required Experience in conducting Annual Internal and External Audits Proven ability to create impactful Presentations for various stakeholders Demonstrated experience in Forecasting and Cost Reduction Analysis Expertise in handling Product Costing and Product Cost Development Experience in Cost Variance and Variance Analysis Adept at identifying and implementing Cost Reductions Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
