Mechanical Technician Georgia-based Cosmo Cabinets, a growing manufacturer of kitchen and bath cabinets is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Eatonton, GA. The ideal candidate should have experience working with PLC controllers, vacuum hydraulics, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. This position’s primary responsibility will be to install and commission new machining equipment as well as troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining our current production equipment. Responsibilities:

Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, including PLC controllers, vacuum hydraulics, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.

Identify opportunities for improvement in equipment and processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment and process performance.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.

3+ years of experience working with PLC controllers, vacuum hydraulics, and pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Experience installing and commissioning new machining equipment.

Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Must be comfortable with overtime as needed.
