- Understand, interpret and apply technical accounting guidelines under ASC 606
- Prepare analysis to support accounting conclusions and ensure adherence to Accounting Policies
- Lead the monthly close of all revenue-related accounts, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, unbilled A/R, bad debt, and royalty and commissions accruals, ensuring accurate and timely results are delivered to management
- Ensuring proper calculation of sales commissions, including reconciliations and adjustments
- Assist with internal or external audit queries on revenue recognition, including the preparation of revenue-related support schedules for annual financial statements
- Preparing monthly revenue forecasts and assisting with the annual budget
- Document revenue recognition processes accurately and clearly for internal systems
- Assist with performing Standalone Selling Price (SSP) testing
- Assist with and manage various ad-hoc project as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA Preferred
- 3- 5 years experience working in accounting/finance preferred
- Knowledge of ASC 606 with respect to revenue recognition
- Detail-oriented with great organizational skills, but able to deal with ambiguity
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills
- Critical/Logistical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively and efficiently
