These experiences allow young talent to grow their skill set and network within the company while figuring out what they are passionate about early on in their careers.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)The Industry & Customer Marketing team, in collaboration with the Brand Marketing team, is seeking a Summer Intern to join our team and play a role in four key projects: Vertical Assessment, Customer Journey Mapping, Healthcare Initiative and the Downlighting Journey.Vertical Assessment: The intern will assist in conducting analyses of specific industry vertical(s) identified by strategic initiatives. This will involve market research, competitor analysis, and creating or updating relevant marketing assets, such as: webpages, campaigns and educational content.Customer Journey Mapping: The intern will assist in refreshing customer journey maps for key customer segments. This could involve conducting research, analyzing data, and identifying touchpoints across the customer lifecycle.Healthcare Initiative: The intern will assist in increasing overall awareness for the Healthcare vertical and Care Collection through exploring paid placements and digital marketing tactics.Downlighting Journey: The intern will support the branch refresh of Gotham and product launch of IVO. They will work on executing the 4 key marketing campaigns, focusing on: associates, agents, specifier, and contractors. This will involve tasks such as creating marketing materials, assisting with social media, and creation of a specification community.The intern will also assist in the execution of tactical requests on an as needed basis.Skills and Minimum Experience Required
Relevant internship or project experience
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or a related field
A minimum GPA of 3.0
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven problem-solving capabilities
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Experience leading teams or organizations
