Genuent is hiring a Sr. Java Developer for our direct client in Atlanta OR Columbus, GA. This is a long-term contract position with a tentative start date. Qualified candidates should send their resume (Word format) to Rachel Yarbrough at Sr. Java Developer- D&V
- Responsible for designing, developing, & maintaining complex Java based applications that support the business needs of Company Dental and Vision.
- Analyzes and interprets business/user requirements; designs and develops programing to fulfill the request and requirements of the business/user through Java; tests, troubleshoots, makes updates and supports the business applications in alignment with overall goals and objectives of Company Dental and Vision
- Participates and drive development life cycle to include creating the concepts, design, and quality testing; utilizes best practice techniques as well as providing solutions to complex development tasks; monitors efficiency and address production and non-production issues
- Coordinates with other developers to integrate Java into system/web applications to support Company Dental and Vision; serve as a leader on projects, architectural development, and testing
- Provide direction, mentorship, and guidance to lower level developers; handles more complex issues and assists with lower to midlevel issues; reviews work of others as necessary
- Perform other duties as required
