Description We are offering an opportunity for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Brunswick, Maine. In this role, you will be expected to utilize your skills and experience in Civil Litigation, specifically on the Plaintiff side. You will also handle matters related to Insurance and attending court. This position is an excellent chance to enhance your career in a dynamic and supportive work environment.Responsibilities: Handle Civil Litigation cases, primarily on the Plaintiff side Attend court proceedings and represent clients effectively Leverage your experience with Insurance to provide accurate legal advice and representation Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, particularly those specific to Maine Utilize your skills as a Licensed Attorney to provide the highest level of legal service Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest developments in law and in the industry Perform research to give accurate legal advice to clients Prepare legal documents and agreements that protect the client's interests Develop relationships with clients to ensure a high level of client satisfaction Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners to ensure efficient operations. Requirements Must possess a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of an attorney or lawyer Demonstrated experience in civil litigation Proven track record as a litigation attorney Familiarity with subrogation processes and practices Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously High level of professionalism and ethical standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and court personnel Proficiency in legal research tools and software Willingness to stay updated with the latest legal trends and regulations.
