Electrical contractor seeking electrician helpers for projects throughout the CSRA.
The electrician helper is responsible to assist Electricians by performing duties related to the installation, alteration, repair, replacement and maintenance of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment in order to assist in meeting strict daily and weekly project deadlines. Perform tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician, leadman, superintendent or Foreman.
Learn how to do:
Conduit Bending (90, offsets, stubs/kick, 3-point, etc.)
Conductor Sizing, outer covering and insulation removal (wire preparation) includes NM, UF and MC
Wire switches- SP, 3W, 4W and Double Pole
Wire GFI outlet
Transformers 1PH, 3PH, Buck/Boost
Identify motor leads
Wire lighting controls (PP, OS, etc.)
Education/Experience/Prerequisites Required:
Generally has 0-2 years of previous electrical experience (industrial/commercial)
Maintain minimum tool list provided
Reliable transportation
Pass all criminal record and drug testing
High School education, HS graduate, or GED or vocational background
Complete on the job training, as required
Valid driver's License
