I am looking to hire someone that can help me sell photos at a two week horse show in Aiken, SC from Wednesday June 12, 2024 - Sunday June 23, 2024. It's a 5 day work week that runs Wednesday through Sunday each week.
I'll have a booth with computers set up as viewing stations while I'm out shooting the show. After each class, I'll drop off my card so that you can upload and sort the photos on the computers and process any orders that come in. It's a fairly easy job, and having some experience in photography and/or horse shows would be ideal, but it's not necessary. Any sales or customer service experience is a plus too. I have other shows throughout the year, so this could potentially lead to more work. If you have an interest in photography, it might even lead to some shooting gigs.
A typical day starts at 8AM and could go for about 8 hours. Depending on the numbers and how quickly everyone goes, the day might be longer or shorter. For this job, I pay $150 a day (for an 8 hour day, that's a little over $18 an hour). If the day goes longer than 8-9 hours, it would be great if you could stay.
