The Role: Seasonal 'Traveler' in Long-Term Care - Per DiemMaineGeneral is offering an exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced CNA to join our team at Glenridge. The Seasonal "Traveler" CNA works at least 3 shifts per week in Long-Term Care with the opportunity to stay with MaineGeneral when the assignment is completed. The schedule and shift can change every 12 weeks or as needed. This position comes with a generous pay differential, comparable to traveler pay if you work at least 36 hours/week. What You'll Do:
Provide empathetic patient care, making a difference with every interaction.
Handle communications and monitor patient conditions with attentiveness.
Reports findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
Work with nurses and activities coordinator(s) to enhance the lives of our residents
Your Qualifications:
State of Maine CNA certification.
Experience working with individuals with memory impairments such as Alzheimer's and dementia is preferred.
