Job SummaryThe Sales Coach’s purpose is to provide support to SHI Sales teams with sales development and execution efforts. The Sales Coach will help design, organize, and lead projects while working alongside Enablement leadership and other sales support teams. They will identify trends and gaps in sales execution behaviors and suggest new learning curriculum to address these gaps. They will provide both group and 1x1 coaching support to targeted sellers. ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:

Analyze historical and current sales performance data in PowerBI to identify where both SHISales Leadership and SHI Sales reps should focus their efforts to achieve SHI sales goals

Develop trusting mentoring relationships with Sales managers and Sellers

Design and implement onboarding & coaching programs

Identify gaps in sales execution behaviors and suggest new learning curriculum to address these gaps

Support Enablement Leadership with creating, collaborating, and presenting learning contentspecific to sales and technology acumen, internal systems and tools, and professional development to SHI Sales teams

Assess the level of success of each Enablement program through interviews, surveys and performance data analysis

Facilitate learning by incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate learning styles, such as classroom instruction, virtual, and blended learning

Help organize and maintain enablement content library in platforms such as SHI Learn, MSFT Teams, and SharePoint

Support virtual training technologies and gamification by including managing Q&A and participation tracking and reporting

Identify ways to enhance learning effectiveness and modify learning content and delivery to continually improve the sales user training experience

Conduct knowledge assessments and learning surveys for SHI Sales teams & managers.

Perform recurring 1:1s with targeted sellers to identify areas of improvement and to provide coaching and tools necessary to improve performance

Provide continual feedback to Sales leaders around seller performance and high-level trends to identify gaps and help improve seller performance

Support Sales Campaign enablement

Join and observe sellers in customer meetings, and provide timely feedback (virtual or in person)Build and maintain key relationships with sales leadership

Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required

Minimum 4 years’ experience in training or learning and development

Required Skills

Excellent facilitation, presentation skills, in a variety of group sizes for both sales and managers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Exceptional listening skills

Proficiency in communicating SHI value proposition and Sales Methodology

Ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

Ability to distill large amounts of information into concise, relevant components

Ability to work independently as needed

Ability to self-identify areas of improvement, and owning content creation/evolution

Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing businessenvironment and help enablement team prioritize projects

Proven initiative and positive attitude; team-oriented, motivated, and highly enthusiastic

Ability to develop strong relationships with SHI Corp Leadership

Ability to identify gaps in sales execution behaviors and tie them into their enablement plans

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Previous experience with classroom management

Previous experience with IT Sales

Experience conducting rep one on ones

Experience providing coaching and development plans to sellers

Proficient with content creation – platforms like LEAP (Cornerstone), and Brainshark is ideal

Proficient with CRM tool

Unique Requirements

May travel to approved conferences or Field Sales Offices as needed, up to 10%.

Additional Information

The estimated pay range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
