We're seeking a dedicated Cook to join our long-term care facility on a per diem basis. This role is perfect for someone who loves food and wants to have a positive impact on the lives of our residents.Job Description: Your Role Will Include:

Preparation with Purpose: Start each day reviewing our menu and special orders. Your attention to detail will ensure we have the right food in the right quantities.

Recipe Excellence: Follow our tried-and-true recipes to create nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.

Timely Tastes: Manage your tasks to ensure meals are ready when needed, contributing to the overall well-being and satisfaction of those we serve.

Safety and Cleanliness: Keep our kitchen safe and sparkling by adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.

Team Leadership: In the absence of our kitchen leaders, guide our team to ensure all duties are completed efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

A team player with a passion for cooking and making a difference.

Preferred: ServSafe certification.

Required: Annual Maine Background Criminal Check as per MaineGeneral Health standards for our facility.
