Duties include:

Schedule, coordinate and set agendas for meetings.

Research, compile and analyze complex information for entering into Excel spreadsheets, reports and databases.

Enter invoices and other data in the State of Maine accounting system.

Compose, review, edit and approve correspondence using independent judgment, initiative and discretion on varied matters within OADS.

Communication with the Administrative Hearings Unit on APS-related cases and other OADS matters.

Complete record retention tasks.

Complete record request and redaction tasks.

Coordinate set-up activities for new and exiting employees, which includes completing requests to the Office of Information Technology for computers, telephones and other equipment.

Perform special projects as they arise.

Perform other administrative duties such as photocopying, answering phone calls, and preparing and receiving mail.

Cover for other administrative support staff as necessary.

Maintain State car schedules.

Minimum Qualifications:In order to qualify, you must have competency in applying a proficient knowledge of modern office practices to perform advanced administrative support tasks requiring specialized skills, and 2) the ability to use independent judgment, initiative, and discretion to make determinations on varied matters.
