We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a MT Trainee, you will train under the direct supervision of a qualified director, supervisor or technologist.What will you do in this role:
You will process specimens for laboratory sections and send-outs.
You will monitor computer orders.
You will perform laboratory waived testing.
You will set up instruments and perform basic equipment maintenance.
You will restock supplies.
You will answer phones and fulfill other clerical duties.
You will assist with ensuring all regulatory lab standards are met by following laboratory and hospital policies and procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
You must have a high school diploma or GED.
You must be enrolled in an accredited medical technology training program as defined by CLIA and GDHR.
