We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Manager Emergency Services assists the director with the operations of the department. He/she ensures that patient care is provided according to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services. The Manager is responsible for staffing a sufficient number of qualified and competent persons to provide care and assures the qualifications and competence of those staff members meet the needs of patient care services. The Manager also oversees orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of all persons in the department. The Manager is also responsible for interviewing and selection, retention, disciplinary actions and terminations of department employees in conjunction with the Director and Human Resources. He/ she provides input to the director regarding space/equipment recommendations, budgetary needs, and other resources needed by the department.What qualifications you will need:
BSN or related field or must be enrolled in program and complete within 2 years required
Must hold a current GA RN license or eNLC license required
BLS required upon hire
ACLS required upon hire or within 1 year (certifications must be through AHA or Red Cross)
2+ years of RN experience in an emergency department required; 3+ years of leadership experience preferred
