This position will ideally be hybrid in the Bay Area, however open to remote for the right candidate.

The Main ResponsibilitiesLumen’s Enterprise Sales and Public Sector organization is looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager Intern on our Large Enterprise team. This position will report to our San Jose, CA or work remote. This team’s focus is centered around sales in which you will find solutions for our customers needs. This intern will have the opportunity to work with large clients, gain technical sales experience, and develop sales techniques through exposure and mentorship. Interns can expect to assist with hands on team projects and individual contributions.Other responsibilities of intern will include:

Managing 5+ customer accounts

Learn sales system

Develop sales techniques

Build client relations

Read 10K’s

Provide innovative ideas to sales team

Other duties as assigned

What We Look For in a CandidateProgram eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

Required qualifications

Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship

Graduating August 2025 – May 2027

Preferred fields include bur not limited to: Business, Marketing, Sales, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)

US work authorization is required. Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible.

Proficiency and understanding of:

Proficient with Microsoft Office - Must be proficient in Word and PowerPoint

Sales mindset

Sales point experience is a bonus

Technical tools knowledge or exposure is a plus
