Job Overview: Electrician to help install the necessary wiring, circuit breakers, and outlets for a 240V dryer and 120V washer combo unit in a basement. The distance between the sub-panel and the location for the washer/dryer is approximately 20 feet, and the space is easily accessible via a drop ceiling
Scope of Work:
Install a 240V Circuit for Dryer:
Run 10/3 copper wire from the sub-panel to a new dryer outlet.
Install a 30-amp, double-pole breaker in the sub-panel.
Install a NEMA 14-30R dryer outlet and wire it according to code.
Install a 120V Circuit for Washer:
Run 12/2 copper wire from the sub-panel to a new washer outlet.
Install a 15-amp or 20-amp single-pole breaker in the sub-panel (depending on washer requirements).
Install a NEMA 5-15R outlet and wire it to code.
Verify Grounding and Bonding:
Ensure that both outlets are properly grounded and comply with electrical safety standards.
Test the System:
After installation, ensure all outlets are correctly wired, and test both the dryer and washer connections to ensure safe operation.
Provide a voltage test to verify that both circuits are properly functioning.
Must ensure work complies with local electrical codes.

Hourly rate: $40 per hour
