Responsibilities – Service Technician:
Identify necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and/or maintenance work, following dealership and manufacturer’s guidelines.
Document services performed
Effectively utilize available technologies to enhance customer experience
Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area
Participate in required training
Record all hours worked accurately in company’s time-keeping system
Demonstrate the company’s core values
Follow safeguards, rules and regulations complying with the company’s , Federal and State policies and procedures.
Observe all Federal State and local and company safety rules
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications – Service Technician:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge.
Technical training or commensurate technical experience required
Completed manufacturer training to perform warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
Certified / senior technician with Toyota preferred
State inspection/emissions license as required by the State
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver’s license required
