Job Responsibilities

As an inside sales representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue and building client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

- Building, developing, and managing a client portfolio, maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to identify new business opportunities.

- Generating leads, conducting outreach, and engaging potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present tailored solutions.

- Developing new clients, presenting our services to clients and clearly articulating their value to close sales and secure long-term contracts.

- Collaborating with internal departments, including Marketing and Testing, to ensure client satisfaction.

- Keeping accurate and detailed records of sales activities ensuring up-to-date and accessible information using our internal database.

- Staying informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor activities to effectively position the company in the market and maintain a competitive edge.

Administrative Duties

- Add customer contact details to customer management data base and keep up to date

- Create proposals and invoices as needed

- Manage and collect payments in a timely manner

- Review and follow up on monthly Aged Receivable report

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

- 5+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the IT Training industry.

- Experience in selling to all branches of military and government organizations a big plus.

- Familiarity with writing effective proposals and submitting to military and government organizations as well as corporate clients.

- Familiarity with reviewing RFQ (Request For Quote), preparing effective proposals, and submitting to government clients in GSA market.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.

- Proficiency in using customer relationship management program to manage client information, track leads, and monitor sales performance.

- Strong self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

- Adaptability to adjust sales tactics based on client feedback and evolving market demands.

Nice-to-have:

- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Familiarity with industry-specific sales practices and experience in the technology sector.

Success Criteria

To be successful in this role as a sales representative, we expect you to:

- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas, demonstrating the ability to drive consistent revenue growth.

- Show an increase in client portfolio size and retention rates, reflecting the ability to maintain and nurture long-term client relationships.

- Deliver exceptional customer service, earning positive client feedback and reinforcing the company’s reputation.

- Actively contribute to team objectives and maintain accurate records to ensure accessible and reliable information departments.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $100K based on past experience plus 20K-50K bonus.
