We are seeking an experience Lead Field Service Engineer to join our team.

Offering Full Time Employment with Weekly payment.

Qualified Candidates will have Networking, Telecommunications and Cabling experience in the following areas:

Network Infrastructure troubleshooting and installations

Rack & Stack

POTs Migrations from Basic

Voice over IP / VoIP

Fiber Optics

Cat5/6

Job Summary:

The Lead Field Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing technical field operations, including troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and telecommunications systems. This role ensures that field technicians adhere to company policies and procedures, provides guidance and training, and maintains high customer satisfaction by resolving escalated technical issues. The Lead Field Technician must be available during regular business hours and provide on-call support as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Field Service Duties

Complete Preventative Maintenance and field modifications as needed.

Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of network systems.

Move, add, and change network equipment such as routers, switches, and devices.

Execute racking and stacking of equipment as directed.

Install structured cabling in compliance with city codes.

Connect and install Demarc extensions per city code for homes and businesses.

Provide network wiring testing and cable certification services for new and existing installations.

Install wireless access points and perform advanced network troubleshooting for on-premises and cloud services.

Install and troubleshoot CAT5E/6/6A and fiber optic cabling.

Troubleshoot and install surveillance systems, CCTV, motion alert cameras, audio-visual equipment, paging/intercom systems, and digital signage.

Install and troubleshoot phone systems, PBX, and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Lead Duties

Serve as the primary technical contact for field technicians regarding technical issues.

Monitor on-site activities as scheduled.

Conduct pop-up check-ins to ensure field technicians follow company processes and dress codes.

Resolve escalated technical issues and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

Provide input to dispatch on technician assignments for major projects when requested.

Execute and document training for new technicians, including completing training forms.

Conduct re-training sessions for technicians who fail to follow procedures after repeated reports.

Complete and submit discussion forms to HR for technicians reported by dispatch or management for non-compliance.

Be available Monday through Friday for Lead Tech responsibilities.

Assist technicians with troubleshooting and consultations during business hours and after hours and on-call as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience in field service operations, network infrastructure and telecommunications.

Previous experience overseeing field operations and technicians.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace and EMail

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to oversee and train field technicians effectively.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Knowledge of structured cabling, VoIP systems, CCTV, and network troubleshooting.

Ability to work independently and handle on-call responsibilities as required.

Understanding of city codes related to structured cabling and Demarc extensions.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 to 3 related field experiences required.

Physical Requirements:

Field-based role requiring travel to job sites / Long periods of driving

Must be available for scheduled work hours and on-call as needed.

Work may require physical activities such as lifting, climbing, and installation tasks.

The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
