Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic beauty professional with 5–8 years of experience in fast-paced salon or retail environments, and a true passion for spray tanning. You live and breathe flawless tans, delight in mentoring others, and thrive on delivering top-tier client experiences. If you’re an “elite unicorn” who’s either a regular spray-tanner yourself or has built a career in the admin side of the beauty industry, we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
Lead by Example
Perform and oversee high-quality spray tan services
Maintain studio standards: room prep, product setup, sanitation
Client Experience & Relationship Management
Coach team members to deliver “10/10” interactions at every touchpoint
Handle escalated client requests, feedback, and re-services
Operational Oversight
Manage appointment flow and staffing in a fast-paced environment
Monitor inventory levels; place product and supply orders
Ensure studio cleanliness, boutique merchandising, and visual standards
Train, mentor, and evaluate junior specialists
What You Bring
Experience: 5–8 years in beauty, salon, or retail operations; proven leadership in a busy setting
Spray Tan Expertise: You have experience either getting tanned yourself or working in the industry.
Client-First Mindset: Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and a genuine love for building relationships
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with online booking systems (e.g., Booker, Vagaro), basic Excel/Google Sheets, and social media content creation
Availability: Flexibility for AM, PM, and weekend shifts as needed
Personality: Self-starter, deadline-driven, and energized by a collaborative team culture
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $23–$25/hour, based on experience
