Position Summary:
The Senior Lead Person plays a key leadership role in daily operations by providing guidance, coordination, and support to team members to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety guidelines are met. This position acts as a liaison between frontline employees and supervisors or management, helping to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily workflow and assign tasks to team members based on production priorities.
Ensure work is performed efficiently and safely, following company policies and procedures.
Train and mentor new and existing employees on processes, safety standards, and best practices.
Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback to team members.
Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and ensuring adequate staffing for each shift.
Communicate issues or delays to supervisors and help implement corrective actions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Participate in quality assurance and problem-solving initiatives.
Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Data entry.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or leadership training preferred.
Minimum [3] years of experience in manufacturing, with at least [5] years in a lead or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, timekeeping systems responding to emails).
Forklift experience.
Working Conditions:
May be required to stand, walk, bend, or lift for extended periods.
Occasional overtime, weekends, or shift work may be necessary based on operational needs.
Work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, or temperature variations depending on location.
