Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately packing and shipping products to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Duties
Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards and are free from damage.
Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move products safely.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues for maintenance.
Skills
Proficient in warehouse management techniques with a focus on efficiency and safety.
Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various types of warehouse equipment effectively.
Familiarity with inventory management systems to track product movement accurately.
Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a distribution center environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while maintaining individual accountability.
Responsibilities
Pull items using pick list and allocate to sales order.
Requirements
At least one-year experience in a shipping warehouse roll with many different SKUs
Experience with shipping software such as WorldShip, FedEx, or USPS
Experience with pallet jack.
Exceptional attendance and punctuality
Willing to grow with company by learning and sharing new skills
Work as a team and independently
Detail-oriented as not to compromise efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate effectively
General knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail
Basic math skills and use of a measuring tape
Reliable transportation
Review orders to ensure accuracy.
Clean and pack items with care and efficiency to help reduce item damage and shipping cost.
Prepare and ship small package orders along with large boxs of all sizes
Print shipping labels using UPS.USPS and
Prepare and ship large palletized orders.
Assist in inventory control
Adhere to all safety policies and processes.
Maintain general warehouse cleaning.
Report all discrepancies
Meet, maintain, and exceed daily production goals.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
