Brainchild Associates, a boutique PR firm, is seeking a PR professional to become a part of our team, working on clients focused in the hair, beauty and fashion industries just to name a few. For more than a decade, Brainchild Associates has provided top-notch, tailored public relations campaign services to clients specialized in the beauty, health, lifestyle, editorial, nonprofit and entertainment arenas. We are seeking sharp, enthusiastic individual with a desire to acquire professional experience in the beauty and fashion industries!
Required Hours: Approx. 15-20 hours weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create press and marketing content (i.e., press releases, byline articles, media alerts, press kits, tip sheets, blog articles, social media profiles & post captions, collateral materials, email communications, etc.)
Research, prepare pitches and pursue media coverage opportunities to promote client product, services and thought leadership
Research, pursue and coordinate collaborations with social media influencers, media personalities, brand partners and target organizational contacts
Provide PR support at events including press events, engagement events, product launches,
multi -city tours, etc.
Prepare media reports to track the success of PR activities
KEY CAPABILITIES:
- Experience with securing and working with the media and target PR contacts is a must
- Strong written and verbal communications is a must
- Access to target PR contacts is ideal
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient and fluent in the English language
- Exceptional multitasking
- Passion for customer service and complete satisfaction
- Ability to work remotely
- Ability to take direction and complete assignments on deadline
