Job description
At TLLS, we're not just shaping landscapes—we're shaping people. Our mission is simple but powerful: grow great people and build a team of leaders—not just labor. We believe that when we invest in people, everything else follows. Beautiful properties, happy clients, and a thriving team all grow from the same roots: leadership, accountability, and a commitment to getting better every day.
Our vision is to become the best place to work in the landscaping industry. That means creating an environment where you’re not just doing a job—you’re building a career, developing as a leader, and making a difference every day.
Why This Role Exists
As a Landscape Crew Leader, you’re more than just a supervisor—you’re a coach, a problem-solver, and a standard-setter. This role exists to create a better work experience for your team and better results for our clients. You're the bridge between fieldwork and leadership—taking ownership of each job site while helping your crew grow into their own potential.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months In)
You lead with confidence and care. Your crew looks to you for direction, and you provide it clearly, respectfully, and consistently.
Your jobs run smooth and on time. You’re planning ahead, keeping things organized, and always a step ahead of potential challenges.
Clients trust you. They know they’re in good hands when you’re on site, and you’re proud of the work you deliver.
Your team grows because of you. You’re mentoring others, identifying strengths, and giving meaningful feedback.
You’re growing, too. Whether it’s learning new technical skills, stepping into more responsibility, or developing your leadership mindset—you’re making moves.
Responsibilities
Lead a crew of 2–5 team members on landscape installation and enhancement projects
Ensure high-quality work, safety, and efficiency on all job sites
Communicate clearly with clients, teammates, and management
Train and support crew members to grow in their roles
Represent TLLS values of professionalism, respect, and continuous improvement
This Role is For You If…
You enjoy leading others and helping them succeed
You take pride in doing things the right way, every time
You’re hungry to grow—professionally and personally
You’re proactive, organized, and unafraid to take responsibility
You love working outdoors and creating beautiful spaces with your hands
What You’ll Gain
A clear path to leadership with coaching and mentorship
Opportunities for training, certifications, and advancement
A team that supports and pushes each other to be better
A company that values people over profits and relationships over transactions
The chance to leave every property—and person—better than you found them
Ready to grow into the leader you’re meant to be?
Join us at TLLS, and let’s build something great—together.
