Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and with a team. You will be responsible for ensuring our property remains in excellent condition, performing repairs, and addressing maintenance issues as they arise.
This position has a set schedule of 9:30a to 6:00p Sunday through Thursday. Off days are Friday and Saturday. If you cannot work this schedule, do not apply. A background check and drug test are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Perform drywall repairs and painting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
- Complete work orders requested by homeowners in a professional manner inside each home.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address potential issues.
- Assist with property upkeep, including landscaping, pool maintenance, and cleaning common areas.
- Maintain an automated log of maintenance activities and completed work orders. Experience with the Building Link platform is beneficial.
- Work with outside contractors when necessary to complete specialized repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their concerns in a professional manner.
- Participates in a maintenance "on call" rotation program as scheduled by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as required.
