Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Home Care Agency

Location: Tucker, GA

Wage: $19.00/hr

Hours: On-call every other weekend with company phone for assistance

9:00-3:30 Tuesdays and Fridays

With the potential to go full-time beginning October 2025.

This role is well-suited for someone with previous experience in administrative roles in healthcare or home care settings. Must have experience with scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care:

Assist with client intakes, assessments, and coordinating wellness visits.

Collaborate with clients, families, care partners, and referral sources for satisfaction.

Onboarding:

Assist with background checks, orientations, and new hire paperwork.

Manage client and caregiver schedules and ensure good caregiver-client matches.

Enter shifts into proprietary scheduling software and provide coaching to caregivers.

Clerical:

Perform office tasks like filing and answering phones.

Maintain databases for clients and employees.

Use Microsoft Office tools for day-to-day tasks.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in home care, administrative assisting, schedule management, and office assisting.

Proven background in care management, particularly with geriatric populations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Independent, organized, and self-motivated with attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.

PREFERRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's in business administration, healthcare administration, Human Resource Management or related fields

· Familiar with basic medical terminology, insurance company operating procedures, regulations, billing requirements and government reimbursement programs.

· Able to recognize, analyze and prioritize problems; experience with process improvement theories.

· Displays an outgoing, warm, and helpful attitude

· Able to communicate clearly with patients over the telephone and in person.

· Resolve any medical-administrative problems and keep lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere
