NOW HIRING Personal Care Aide for Stockbridge!
Shelter At Home is an in-home, non-medical provider serving the Metro Atlanta area. We currently have need for a three-day weekend (Fri, Sat, and Sun) and three weekdays ( Mon, Wed, Thurs) from 3:00pm -6pm. Must be able to do full schedule for this position. Responsibilities and Duties
Transfer and positioning experience preferred, but will train
Record daily tasks completed and health status
Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.
Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
Provide mobility and transfer assistance
Prepare light breakfast. Dinner meals are prepackaged
Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes.
Assist with transportation needs and escort to doctors and social outings.
Qualifications and Skills
Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or
Passing score on Personal Care Assistant Competency Tests if not licensed (agency will provide)
Must past background check
CPR certification
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
Reliable transportation
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Prior home care experience preferred, but will train the right person
Position requires constant bending, stooping, crouching and physical movement
Salary and Benefits
$16 hr
