We are seeking compassionate and patient caregivers to care for my mother and father. Both have limited mobility (i.e., wheelchair bound) due to Parkinson's and dementia. However, despite it all, both are happy and good-natured. They enjoy watching action movies, comedies, and game shows, as well as discussing sports and music.
An ideal candidate should possess prior experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant ("CNA") working with patients afflicted with Parkinson's or similar mobility-limiting afflictions as well as experience working with a feeding tube (i.e., G-Tube). All candidates must be able to perform the following daily tasks: bed transitioning, toilet transitioning, meal preparation, bathing, as well as dressing and grooming.
