We are looking for two types of canvassers. Voter contact and non-voter contact.
No Contact Position
You would just place door hangers on a targeted route. No knocking. The list is only democrat voters. $15 an hour. Work 5 hours or 40 hours. There is also opportunities for sign-waving at certain events. (Easter egg hunts, etc)
Contact Postion
Must have prior political canvassing experience. You will knock on the door and speak to the voter. Document any concerns and questions and remind them of the election. We also pay a $5 bonus for each yard sign that you can place. Pay depends on experience. Your mentality should be, "No one is a stranger."
This is a 1099 Contract labor position with work conducted during daytime hours. Pay is daily. Contractor is responsible for their own transportation and travel arrangements. Travel is required for this position. Your mentality should be, "No one is a stranger."
Professional appearance and demeanor are a must.
Ideal candidate should have an affinity for democratic values and a willingness to learn more about political campaigns.
