The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and emotionally intelligent Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen operations with professionalism, precision, and presence. This person will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards, lead the culinary team, and help evolve the next chapter of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage kitchen staff with consistency and clarity
Maintain culinary standards, food cost, and prep systems
Collaborate with Head Chef on menus, specials, and seasonal direction
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Uphold a positive, growth-oriented kitchen culture
Train and mentor chefs and line cooks
Stay calm and solution-focused under pressure
Qualifications:
3+ years in a senior kitchen leadership role (Sous Chef, Exe Sous Chef or CDC)
Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills
Deep understanding of kitchen systems and operational flow
Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining consistency
Passion for mentoring and team development
Emotional steadiness and self-awareness under pressure
ServSafe (or equivalent) certification
