EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience
SALARY RANGE: $19.00 Per/Hour
HOURS REQUIRED: 12PM TO 8PM
JOB DESCRIPTION: LINE COOK
The Line Cook is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of dining experience for our customers. They should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent communication skills, and an enhanced focus on details.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
Completes basic food prepping tasks for the restaurant.
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks’ food items by baking, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage and all other applicable sanitary, health and personal hygiene standard.
Cleans and sanitizes kitchen, cooking surfaces and equipment at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Experience:
Previous experience cooking in a restaurant.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
