At Local Green we provide you with a culinary experience focused on your health, that tastes good and helps you feel good while giving you a cultural experience to match our flavor.

Our mission is to provide outstanding service to assist our guests in wellness through our vegetarian/ pescatarian menu . As a part of our culinary team, your function is to assemble our menu items in a high-volume atmosphere, and ensure guests are presented with a outstanding guest experience. In this position, you will use your passion for preparing food and develop the skills necessary for growth in a progressive environment. Starting wage with advancement potential $16-$18 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the food truck staff

Clean up station and take care of leftover food

Stock inventory

Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Organizational skills

Accuracy and speed in executing tasks in a high volume environment

Ability to work as a team member

Follows directions and instructions

Possess the "can-do" attitude

Willing to grow and advance with a progressive company

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook

Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, but not required

Experience with various cooking methods and procedures

Familiar with industry best practices in accordance with ServSafe principles

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: Kitchen Manager $17-$21 and Cashier $12-$15
