As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with our industry-leading insurer and global panel of aviation attorneys to investigate insured matters and ensure that each is handled efficiently, consistent with Delta’s legal, financial, and brand interests. Responsibilities:

Identify, and work collaboratively across the organization to gather, documents relevant to liability and for production in discovery

Analyze legal documents, such as service & process documents, pleadings, written discovery, and contracts

Play a key role in developing strategy for claim defense and/or resolution

Report to leadership on the status of time-sensitive, high-visibility, and high-exposure matters

Preserve and maintain claim-related documents and data in Delta’s risk management information system (RISM)

Place litigation holds using litigation hold software

Leverage insights and experience to help drive efficiencies cross-functionally and within the division

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved institution

3+ years of law firm experience, preferably insurance defense

An understanding and working knowledge of the litigation lifecycle and legal documents related to same

Strong analytical and research skills

Exceptional time management, organization, and prioritization skills

Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with supervised direction

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
